The Problem
The client needed a fully functional WooCommerce storefront built to their existing design, then moved from a development environment to their live hosting server — all without disrupting their business. The existing site also suffered from poor load times that were negatively affecting both user experience and search engine visibility.
My Approach
Implemented the approved design onto a WordPress WooCommerce template, configuring products, categories, and the checkout flow to match the client's requirements. Handled the complete server migration — including database export and import, DNS updates, and post-migration testing — to ensure a clean and seamless go-live. Following the launch, carried out a thorough performance audit and applied front-end and server-side optimisations including caching, image compression, and database query improvements.
