The Problem
The client needed a fully designed and built WordPress site that went beyond a standard template — several pages required custom functionality that did not exist out of the box. The project also inherited bugs and styling inconsistencies that needed resolving, and load times had to be brought down to meet performance expectations.
My Approach
Designed the full site in Figma before moving into development, ensuring all layouts and interactions were agreed upon before a single line of code was written. Implemented the design into a WordPress template and developed custom functionality across multiple pages to meet the client's specific requirements. Worked through all outstanding bugs and applied targeted styling fixes to achieve visual consistency. Completed the project with a thorough performance optimisation pass — caching, asset minification, and image compression — to deliver fast load times.
