The Problem
Hobbypedia required more than a standard WordPress site — the core product was a hobby discovery feature that needed custom functionality not available through any existing plugin. The design also had to be built from scratch to match the platform's unique concept, and all of it needed to be connected through a reliable API integration.
My Approach
Designed the full platform in Figma before development, establishing the UX flows and visual language for the hobby-focused experience. Converted the design into a custom WordPress template and developed all bespoke functionality from scratch. Built a custom API route specifically for the hobby feature, handling data requests and responses, and integrated it with the front end so the functionality worked seamlessly within the WordPress environment.
